no more 'P' plate

Exactly last year at around this time, i got my class 3 licence, and so now its one year later, which means i can officially drive without the 2 triangles!!! =)
So in that one year i have learnt like alot from my dad on the so called 'final techniques of driving'. So big thanks to my dad and of course my instructor!! =)

busy busy

Have been super uber busy with school recently. Projects and tutorials keep piling everyday! Let's recall..

Well had Union bowl last sunday at yishun safra. Did not bowl very well, in fact i was disappointed. Lucky that was not the selection for the ivg.

And thursday marked the first visit to the ntu medical centre other than the checkup thing. Had this eeeky cough and flu which refuse to go away after more than a week. Argh!

Other than that, nothing much happened in the past week, except for tutorials and projects. But there is lots to look forward in the upcoming days!!

I am so so happy because i managed to get my malay module for this sem! So i wont be taking french anymore this sem. Thanks to whoever that dropped their malay mod!! =)

Today's date is all the 8's. The next time will be like 1000 years later! Apparently supposed to be super auspicious date as can be seen by many marriages in China and all! And today also happens to be Official Opening of Olympics but i am not catching it at all. So boring, better off watching my chinese shows, the new 9pm show has Rebecca and Jeneatte Aw =)

Okay today i went all the way back to ntu to buy books, cause i realise i cant do tutorials without the books. And they sure do cost a lot, but i love new books, so i tink its worth it!

Believe it or not, i have started reading some part of the book call me a mugger or wad, but it is quite interesting the book! And i realise there is lots lots more of readings to be done, some of which are utterly good sleeping pills.

first week at sch

Hi all, my first week of uni has ended like yesterday cause no tutorials as yet. So i went home yest but was too lazy to blog.

Monday was NBS welcome day, and i got to know my marketing tutorial group mates alreay. Some ice-breakers and tour around nbs compound and that sort of marked the end of the event. At night, was NTU Jash at Zouk. It was a joint hall bash. It was super enjoyable and i was super high! First time i got down to the dance floor thou i have been clubbing a couple of times before. It was mambo night. And thanks to those who bought drinks!

Tuesday and Wednesday were basically lectures with lots of free time! And i finally get to experience the convenience of staying in hall, cause i can sleep alot!

Taking only 3 core mods this sem - Organisational Behaviour, Marketing and Stats. And maybe French as unrestricted elective. Havent decided whether to drop. Anyway for now i love marketing, cause the lecturer is fun and it is the more interesting of the mods! Realised lots of reading has to be done for tutorials and all. Stress is building up, hope i will be able to handle it!

Thank god i have my sister to help me out during my first week at sch! Thanks alot and ya Happy Birthday once again!!

back!!

Hi everyone! I am back from Hall 12 FOC! Actually i got back yesterday evening, but was too tired to blog!

Well, the camp was full of fun and excitement, thou it tired me out alot at times and i was also sunburnt! Totally did not regret going for it! Tried out many new things also =) Played lots of games and learned lots of cheers, thou i still cant get some of the hokkien ones!

Day 1 was basically ice-breakers day and we had a go at this shooting of laser guns around one block of hall 12! My OG Helios won!!

Day 2 was Amazing Race. Gosh, there was this part which really made me super tired cause i havent been running around alot for like many months and we had to climb this Marang trail up to the top of Mount Faber! The view at the top was really nice! And i didnt know Jewel Box was up there as well. Helios won the Amazing Race too!! After that we proceeded to Sentosa for SP interaction for nite.

Day 3 was Sentosa Beach Out. Managed to try beach volleyball, beach soccer and other beach games! At nite was SP nite. My SP was a nice person! I got a senior cause my real SP was sick i tink. We went to Hortfort for dinner. Nice place.

Day 4 was welcome day for the freshies. Quite waste time, but got goodies to take! After went kayaking at Camp Christine. Kayaking was fun la! My first time at it! We lost the telematch cause the last team apparently had a canoeist! Argh! And after that was Fright Night on first day of 7 month! Actually i can see where the people scaring us are standing la but i still screamed! So paiseh la!

Day 5 was some telematch, followed by pool games. They got this game called 'Shui Shang Piao' dam fun! Must run across floats in the pool! And the other pool games were also very fun!! And at night was Initiation Nite! Terrible la, made us super stink! I can still imagine the smell in my mind! Yucks!!

Final day was basically closing ceremony. Helios Rocks man! Thanks to all in Helios and the GLs and SAs for making it such a fun experience!

Time table is out and i only got lessons on Tuesday, Wed and Friday! Yay!

Looking forward to tmr! NBS welcome day followed by joint hall bash at Zouk! And next week will be a short week cause there is no tutorial on Fri!!
